Factors such as their presence in sources or their availability are also considered in establishing their multiple relationships in the contextual framework of growing globalization. Although they constituted uncategorized products in a very heterogeneous market, they have been grouped in pigments and colorants. Generally, their main uses had nothing to do with painting; some of them were would have fallen under the definition of dyes, others were used as medicines, and others were basic products for the glass and ceramic industries. This paper explores the presence and role of many of those substances in the development of Renaissance painting.</span></p>}, number={2}, journal={Journal for Art Market Studies}, author={Herrero-Cortell, Miquel Àngel}, year={2019}, month={Dec.} }
